We are pleased to announce a book tour, featuring Anson Montgomery’s Choose Your Own Adventure #185 Escape from the Haunted Warehouse. Montgomery, son of the late series founder R. A. Montgomery, will be appearing in several New England independent bookstores, to sign copies of his newest title and meet fans of the series. The tour kicks off on Friday, September 11th at G. Willikers in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Montgomery’s new book, “Choose Your Own Adventure #185: Escape from the Haunted Warehouse” was announced as part of Chooseco’s “Lost Archive” releases. The title was originally announced as the final book in the first run of the CYOA gamebook series, but was never published. Bloggers and online forums claimed to have read the title and gave it wild five-star reviews, but mysteriously, no print copies seemed to exist. The 4/1/2015 release was covered with rave reviews from People Magazine, Paste Magazine, and its release date was deemed a notable day of the year by USA Today. Montgomery was also interviewed by Q on The Spark Radio show to discuss the lore around Escape from the Haunted Warehouse.
