The world needs to know that Uganda's mountain gorillas are vanishing. Your job is to track the gorillas and write their story. It's no easy task. Poachers, wild buffaloes, snakes and the Ugandan jungle itself put your life at risk. A girl from the local village goes missing and the world's eyes are on you when the BBC shows up with a film crew to document your work.
About the Author JIM WALLACE lived in Norway for a year and taught school in Kampala, Uganda, for three years. He also worked in Tokyo teaching English and writing English language textbooks. He likes to ride Italian motorcycles. He also enjoys chainsawing wood on his property in Vermont. For some time he’s pursued photography and has exhibited his work in Vermont. He lives in Montpelier and has a 12-year-old son.
