We frequently hear from fans interested in turning Choose Your Own Adventure gamebooks into other media, for their own entertainment or bigger venues.
Specific Choose Your Own Adventure titles have only been adapted into performances in a limited number of instances — this requires Chooseco’s permission and we only sign off on projects that inspire us.
Wilbraham & Monson Academy English and Fine Arts/Theater teacher Susan Dziura wrote to us late last year with a brilliant script adapting “War with the Evil Power Master” as a student performance for a theatrical competition.
The end result had the audience completely enraptured, and the students are continuing to tinker with their script. See photos below!
